090914-mazdaTHE brand new Mazda MX-5 will make its European auto show debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in three weeks’ time.

First unveiled last week at Mazda Space, Mazda’s new European event hub in Barcelona, the fourth generation Mazda MX-5 is expected to give another boost to the Japanese brand, which is currently enjoying good levels of success.

In terms of design, the latest edition of the best-selling two-seater roadster in history is designed to be the sportiest ever.

The new car adopts Mazda’s KODO – Soul of Motion design theme with the aim of expressing the car’s agility and the exciting experience that awaits behind the wheel.

In keeping with Mazda MX-5 tradition, the cabin is snug yet comfortable, and now it features modern conveniences such as smartphone connectivity and i-ACTIVSENSE, Mazda’s line-up of active safety technology.

Under the bonnet, high-compression SKYACTIV-G petrol engines drive the rear wheels, while the specially-developed SKYACTIV-Chassis ensures the most advanced driving experience yet.

Mazda is confident the all-new MX-5 retains the same charm, reliability, affordability and above all lightweight fun of the original model launched 25 years ago.
