Time 11:54 am, June 7, 2013

image002BOLTON Kia has officially opened its new ‘red cube’ showroom following a five-month refurbishment programme.

The dealership – wholly owned by Kia Motors UK – is now the largest Kia dealership in both the UK and in Europe.

The showroom’s unveiling was attended by Kia Motor UK chief Paul Philpott and a number of local dignitaries. Attendees also caught an early glimpse of the sporty new Pro-Cee’d GT.

The opening marked the end of a five-month overhaul of the old showroom, which was originally opened in 2007. Bolton Kia now has the firm’s new corporate ‘red cube’ look, space for 16 cars inside, and customer handover bays.

Alex Purdie, dealer principal at Bolton Kia, said: ‘We are delighted with our new home. The possibility of doubling the size of our dealership is testament to how hard the team at Bolton Kia works together and how supportive the local community has been over the years.

‘Now, it’s business as usual and we’re looking forward to welcoming our customers into the expanded premises, offering them the family-like care and service that they are used to.’
