THE 2018 Used Car Awards ceremony is just a few days away – and, as ever, one of the highlights of the evening will be our grand prize draw.
This year we once again have a spectacular array of goodies up for grabs, with all proceeds from the draw going to SeeSaw, a hard-working charity that provides grief support for children and young people.
One of the great prizes up for grabs at The Brewery on Monday, November 26, is a five-night break in the Emerald Isle, courtesy of Tourism Ireland. The trip will include a ferry crossing for a car and two people and a chance to experience the world-renowned Causeway Coastal drive. You’ll visit Game of Thrones film sets; the Titanic Museum; the Giants Causeway (pictured) and Hillsborough Castle.
And that’s not all! Other prizes up for grabs include two tickets for a round of the British Touring Car Championships, courtesy of GardX; a half-day Land Rover experience for two people, courtesy of JLR; two passes for the 2019 Silverstone Classic in July, kindly supplied by Used Car Awards compere Mike Brewer; and an Amazon Echo Plus donated by Motors.co.uk.
The final prize is one for golfers – it’s two places on the 2019 RAC Dealer Network Scottish Golf Day held at the Fairmont St Andrews resort, including overnight accommodation. The date of the event is June 13 and you’ll be playing on the the resort’s famous Kittocks course.
Rebecca Chaplin, editor of Car Dealer, said: ‘The prize draw is yet another reason why the Used Car Awards ceremony will be a fantastic occasion – and with just a few days to go, excitement is building.
‘We’re extremely grateful to everyone who has donated a prize this year and SeeSaw is a very worthy cause – we’re delighted to be supporting the organisation.’
