FIAT has appointed two new partners to help its dealers sell more used cars.
Paragon Automotive will manage the preparation and defleet of daily rental and internal fleet Fiats.
JTK Remarketing will introduce a web-based used vehicle remarketing system. This integrates across all Paragon activities, allowing Fiat dealers to directly access all central used vehicle stock online.
Fiat claims the changes give it one of the most efficient higher volume remarketing systems in the industry. It reduces the time taken to collect, prepare and deliver used cars to dealers, and helps boost retained values.
The two new suppliers enhance Portfolio. The used car marketing experts were recently appointed to improve Fiat’s customer-facing web based stock locator.
Already, Fiat dealers are claiming used volumes are increasing.
‘With Paragon and JTK on board, and Portfolio helping dealers market their used vehicles more dynamically and efficiently, the entire network now have the tools they need to sell more used vehicles, quickly and more profitably,’ said Simon Wheeler, Fiat UK’s remarketing manager.
‘Used cars are a very important part of every Fiat dealer’s sales strategy and we never underestimate the part we can play to help support and develop this area of their business’.
