Time 9:45 am, March 24, 2017

THE debut sale by H.R. Owen of high-end luxury vehicles at BCA Blackbushe was a great success, attracting a large crowd of buyers both in the auction lanes and online.

With a superb selection of vehicles on offer, the event saw 19 high-value cars sold, for a 79 per cent conversion that realised 101 per cent of CAP Clean. BCA Live Online buyers were particularly active with 125 logging on.

The H.R. Owen sales will take place on alternate Wednesdays at Blackbushe as part of the regular Top Car event, with the next event on March 29.  Around 20 high-value vehicles will be on offer in each sale, with all cars fully pre-sale prepared to retail standard.

BCA’s major account manager, Suzanne Spencer, commented: ‘We were delighted with the result of this debut sale at Blackbushe for HR Owen, a brand synonymous with luxury, prestige and performance vehicles.

‘A large crowd of buyers supported the event, both bidding in the hall and via BCA Live Online and the conversion and price performance figures were exceptionally strong.’

Mark Rose, H.R. Owen head buyer, added: ‘The pre-sale preparation and presentation by BCA was first-class and the cars looked exceptional when they were offered for sale.

‘The buying power supporting the event was notable, with confident bidding across the board up to and including cars valued in excess of six figures. We have had an exceptional result in this first sale and look forward to building on this with BCA going forward.’

H.R. Owen is one of the world’s largest retailers in Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bugatti brands. The company is headquartered in London and operates 14 sales and 17 aftersales sites across 11 brands.
