FORD has revealed its all-new Edge Concept, which hints at a new SUV destined for Europe.
This will be the brand’s first 4×4 model on the UK market since it axed the Explorer from its range back in 2002 and is set to hit European markets in approximately four years’ time.
While previous models of the Edge have only been on sale in the USA, Ford predicts the SUV market will grow by 22 per cent in Europe over the course of the next five years –the perfect time to unveil the new model.
It’s set to combine the sporty styling derived from the smaller EcoSport and Kuga models with improved driving dynamics and performance, without sacrificing everyday fuel efficiency.
