MOTORCYCLE legend Dougie Lampkin has collected a new Infiniti QX70 from a dealership in East Yorkshire.
Red Bull athlete Lampkin, who is Yorkshire born and bred, collected the V6 diesel SUV from Infiniti Centre Hull, which is part of the brand’s growing UK network.
Globally recognised as the official title partner of the Infiniti Red Bull Racing Formula One team, Infiniti is starting to make its presence felt throughout the world and across Europe. Lampkin will be looking to play his part in taking this message to market, especially across the UK.
Twelve-times FIM Trial World Trial Champion Lampkin said: ‘The QX70 is ideal for my kind of lifestyle. It has a prestige on-the-road presence and can easily eat up the many motorway miles that I do.
‘I would like to thank everyone at Infiniti for making this happen and to Steve Smith and his team at the Infiniti Centre in Hull.’
Stephen Smith, director at Infiniti Centre Hull, added: ‘Dougie is going to be a great ambassador for the brand. He has an immense following in the world of motorcycling and through his exploits at Goodwood Festival of Speed and on Top Gear he has truly become a household name.
