Jobco-op now fully open

Time 11:00 am, October 25, 2012

MOTOR industry-only recruitment platform Jobco-op is now fully open.

Following a trial period, the site can now be used by dealerships, garages and more – providing a ‘talent pool’ of prospective employees for motor industry jobs.

Dealers pay a £175 monthly fee and, when a role needs filling, can ‘sift through the online talent pool with the help of an account manager’.

The account manager then contacts the dealer’s preferred candidates, carrying out initial telephone interviews, and eventually arranging face-to-face interviews where appropriate.

With fees of ‘as low as’ one per cent of the new candidate’s salary, Jobco-op says its prices compare favourably with other firms – quoting the typical motor industry recruitment fee of around 10-15 per cent.

‘We now have more than 5,000 CVs listed on the system and more than 80 dealers have taken part in our trial phase,’ said director Derek Webb. ‘We believe that we have ironed out any bugs and are now ready and very much open for business.

‘During the next couple of weeks, we expect to be able to announce our first formal customer signing and we have appointments with more than a dozen major dealer groups in the diary.’
