Time 11:24 am, June 25, 2013

22118_300ASE’s Dealermatch service has announced the sale of the Leeds-based Robert Bowett Motoring to Luscombe Motors Limited.

The acquisition of the Mitsubishi franchise, a large used car pitch and a Suzuki freehold premises also means that Luscombe Motors will become a large distributor of parts for Suzuki, Saab and Mitsubishi.

Robin Luscombe initially purchased the Suzuki franchise from Robert Bowett in 2010, which formed Luscombe Motors. As Robert Bowett has now retired from the industry after a number of years operating in the Yorkshire market, this latest acquisition sees Luscombe acquire the remainder of the business.

Managing director of Luscombe Motors Limited, Robin Luscombe said: ‘I am delighted to have purchased the remainder of Robert Bowett Motors.

‘Since the acquisition of Suzuki back in 2010 we have achieved some incredible results and I am looking forward to the challenge of growing the business further ad brining the Mitsubishi franchise into our portfolio.’
