Monday: Jamie Caple and Craig Vladimirovs from Car Quay
The Car Quay duo spoke of the surprising level of sales they’ve experienced since dealerships were allowed to re-open, even with strict social distancing in place.
Caple and Vladimirovs also discussed the surprising variety of stock that’s been in demand from customers – with many far more interested in high-performance models like Audi RS4s than the budget city cars that were initially predicted to be big lockdown sellers.
Tuesday: Magna Motor Group director Tony Roberts
Chief executive Tony Roberts discussed current business, how Horizon Magna is dealing with the coronavirus pandemic and what the outlook for the rest year is.
He also talked about how the business coped with closing and what he thinks of changes to social distancing.
Wednesday: Lipscomb Cars MD Peter Barnes
Lipscomb Cars managing director Peter Barnes appeared on Car Dealer Live this week and discussing how the family-run business in Kent had performed in June.
Thursday: Emerald House of Cars’ Peter Quinn
Emerald House of Cars boss Peter Quinn aims to be the best car dealership in the UK, and sells a range of high quality used cars.
It won Best Newcomer of the Year at Car Dealer Magazine’s Used Car Awards in 2018.
He discussed what sets the colourful dealership apart from the competition, and how the staff have been dealing with the pandemic.
Friday: Exclusive market trends and data from Sophus 3
How has coronavrius affected car markets all around the world? How is the UK performing? And are EVs really the hottest cars on sale?
