Bedford dealer's new boss

New chief for bedford land roverLAND Rover Bedford has a new dealer franchise manager, following the appointment of Andrew Taylor.

Marshall Motor Group made the appointment to one of its 5 Land Rover dealerships in the Eastern area.

Taylor is veteran of 2 decades’ experience in he industry, including 6 years at Marshall.


Chief executive Daksh Gupta said: ‘Andrew has a proven track record, and relevant experience with premium brands, which include Mercedes, Toyota and Land Rover.’

‘I am excited that Andrew is rejoining Marshall, at a time when we recognise the huge opportunities created by the current economic and trading environment.’

Taylor starts on 22 December, and was looking forward to his new role. ‘I enjoyed my previous association with Land Rover in King’s Lynn, and I am looking forward to getting to know, and working with, the established team at Bedford.


He also recognised Marshall’s ‘great long-term strengths of family ownership and being debt-free,’ which he says opens up significant opportunities.

Marshall operates 43 franchised dealerships in the East of England. It employs over 1600 people.
