ROLLS-Royce has announced that Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer will join the company as director of sales and marketing next month.

Wilhelmsmeyer is extremely familiar with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, having served as director for the China region from 2012-2014. During his time there, he contributed significantly to the expansion and success of the Rolls-Royce brand in that market.

Wilhelmsmeyer re-joins Rolls-Royce Motor Cars from his current position with BMW.

Born and raised in Germany, Wilhelmsmeyer graduated from the University of Applied Science in Lahr, Germany with a diploma in business administration before embarking on his career with BMW Group in 1992.

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, chief executive officer at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer as our new director of sales and marketing.

‘Henrik has an exceptional track record and unique first-hand understanding of the global luxury business. He follows in the esteemed footsteps of the company’s founding father and first director of sales, Charles Rolls.’
