Norwich Mitsubishi dealership starts 2018 with all the right moves

Time 9:00 am, February 21, 2018

NORWICH’S Mitsubishi dealership has started the year by making a great move in every possible way.

With Constitution Motors welcoming the all-new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross to its showroom and the Mitsubishi brand being more popular than ever with the city’s drivers, the dealership has relocated to a new site in Mile Cross Lane.

The move to the more prominent location comes after the family-owned business outgrew its previous home on Constitution Hill. To enhance customer experience and accommodate the growth in business generated by this month’s arrival of the Mitsubishi Eclipse SUV and the forthcoming spring launch of the Mitsubishi Shogun Sport seven-seat SUV, Constitution Motors has invested significantly in a new, larger showroom.

Refurbished in record time over the recent Christmas break, the new showroom offers ample space for four vehicles to be displayed, with customers enjoying a contemporary environment in which to peruse the latest Mitsubishi models.

To enhance convenience and make full use of the airy, open-plan layout, Constitution Motors has combined the service reception with the showroom, while aftersales customers can take advantage of the six-bay workshop that caters for everything from routine servicing and maintenance to MOT testing and tyre replacement.

Outside, there is now room for up to 30 Mitsubishi Approved Used vehicles, allowing Constitution Motors to greatly increase the amount and choice of used cars it can offer customers.

Constitution Motors is also extending its highly knowledgeable 16-strong team with an extra person in both its sales and service departments. There are also plans to take on an apprentice technician later this year.

Managing director Ian Coates said: ‘We’ve had fantastic success since joining the Mitsubishi dealer network in 2014, and although we had a plan to move to a new showroom within five years, we decided that now was an excellent time to relocate and offer our customers an even better service.

‘Thanks to tremendous work from our team and everyone pulling together, we moved from our previous showroom to our new facility in only four days. Feedback from our visitors has been excellent, and we can’t wait to show even more customers around our new home and introduce them to the all-new Eclipse Cross SUV and the rest of the Mitsubishi range.’
