Time 7:54 am, September 19, 2013

w0k5zhc2ctngrkuxk4okDMS supplier Pinewood has launched a new built-in video service for car dealers.

Launched this week, the new tool will allow dealerships to give customers an insight into their facilities using footage focused on their vehicle stock and workshops.

Pinewood customers can use this service free-of-charge and will have the ability to record two types of video demonstration.

These include Vehicle Stock, enabling dealers to carry out walk-around demonstrations of new and used cars and VHC Identified Work, which provides customers with a personalised video documentation of work carried out on a vehicle that can be emailed to a customer.

Pinewood has focused on making this facility accessible to all dealerships by ensuring that any video-creation device can be used.

Marketing executive at Pinewood, Chris Caines, said: ‘Video is continually growing as a proven method of customer content delivery. Until now it has been regarded as desirable, yet luxury for dealerships.’

‘To make the process side of this functionality as simple as possible, we’ve used popular video services. Not only does this give us access to their uptime and service quality, but it also enhances customer familiarity, trustworthiness and the benefits of full HD quality.’
