Record-breaking stunt driver puts his own spin on dealer’s event

IMG_6263SOUTH-WEST dealer group Vospers marked the start of its annual 100 Hour Used Car Sale in record style.

The company used the talents of world-renowned stunt driver Terry Grant to make sure its event started with a bang.

Grant – who holds 19 Guinness World Records and is considered one of the most experienced stunt drivers in the world – marked the launch of the sale by giving a demonstration of his skills at the company’s Plymouth site.

He wowed visitors by setting a new world record for the greatest number of donuts spun in 100 seconds, clocking up a total of 39 donuts in the time and throwing down the gauntlet to the rest of the world’s stunt driving elite.

Susannah Knowles, Vospers’ group marketing manager, said: ‘The 100 Hour Used Car Sale is one of the biggest events in our calendar. ‘The Terry Grant event at Vospers not only gave us a means to shout about our sale, but also the opportunity to offer something new and exciting for the local community.

‘We have been delighted with the response among customers and press alike.’

The activity was inspired by a recent interview with Grant for the Vospers company blog and forms part of the company’s continuing dedication to expanding its web and social media content offering.
