Time 9:29 am, February 21, 2019

THE nominations have flooded in and today we can reveal who is up for a gong at the inaugural Car Dealer Magazine Aftermarket Excellence Awards next week!

This glittering event – being held at the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth on Thursday, February 28 – is sponsored by the RAC Approved Garage Powered By Autofirst Network partnership and will recognise the best and brightest businesses and individuals working in a truly tough industry.

The awards – the latest to be added to the Car Dealer honours stable – will shine a spotlight on service and repair professionals and business owners alike, letting them demonstrate exactly why they are the best at what they do.

It will be an occasion not to be missed, where those in the running for recognition will enjoy a drinks reception and three-course meal. The winners will be featured in issue 133 of Car Dealer Magazine, published next month.

There are 16 awards up for grabs – ranging from Manufacturer Warranty Scheme of the Year and Technician of the Year to Specialist Garage of the Year and Aftersales Customer Care Award – and having that RAC brand connection will give added confidence to customers of winners.

Adam O’Neill, the RAC’s network propositions manager, said: ‘We’re thrilled to be closely involved with the Aftermarket Excellence Awards. It’s high time the sector received the recognition it deserves. Winning an Aftermarket Excellence Award is sure to give any garage a huge boost. We can’t wait for the awards night!’

Here is a list of the businesses – in alphabetical order – in the running for one of our gongs. Several talented and hard-working individuals within the sector will also be recognised on the night – but we don’t want to give too much away!
