TMS Volvo has completed a £1.7m refurbishment project to transform its Coventry dealership into a state-of-the-art Volvo Retail Experience.
The family-owned showroom in London Road said it had already experienced a wealth of positive customer feedback following the launch.
The new-look TMS Volvo Coventry showroom includes a greater display of Approved Used Volvo Selekt models on the forecourt and increased customer parking, and will soon feature the new S60 sport saloon.
The Volvo Retail Experience places a focus on improving the space and design of the dealership and is designed to reflect Scandinavian-inspired values of calm and clean lines with ‘cool on the outside and warm on the inside’-style architecture.
The new-look TMS Volvo Coventry features Volvo Cars’ signature lounge area, complete with Scandinavian-designed furniture, free wifi and Swedish fika – coffee and cakes. Large exterior and interior glazing allows customers to see all activity in the new workshops as well.
The dealership is also in the process of offering the new Volvo Personal Service, which places more focus on Volvo technicians liaising with customers from the point of booking through to explaining the services, which they will have carried out themselves.
Len Hallows, managing director at TMS Motor Group, said: ‘We invested in our Coventry dealership so that we could give new and existing customers the best Volvo experience possible.
‘Our recent refurbishment isn’t just about a change of furniture though. It’s designed to make our customers feel relaxed and at ease in an environment that provides flexible waiting, working and assessment areas.
‘The launch of our new Volvo Personal Service will help to connect our customers with their technicians for a smooth and efficient experience, and as always, the exceptional TMS customer care comes as standard.
‘We look forward to welcoming customers with some fika and a chat about their car purchase and servicing needs.’
