A YEAR of outstanding sales and customer care has earned three Nissan dealerships the coveted Nissan Global Award — the company’s highest worldwide award.
Chorley Group, which has five Nissan dealerships across the North West, Crayford & Abbs in Norfolk, and Wellington Motors near Taunton all received the accolade.
While it’s the first time Crayford & Abbs have won the prize, it is a second victory for Chorley Group, who won last year, and Wellington Motors, who also won in 2015.
The awards, bestowed by the carmaker’s top directors and management, recognise outstanding sales, aftersales and customer satisfaction.
Pauline Turner, managing director of Chorley Group, Kevin Abbs, director of Crayford & Abbs, and Mike Finn, managing director of Wellington Motors, received their awards from Nissan Motor GB’s managing director, Alex Smith, last week.
Smith said: ‘I was delighted to present the Nissan Global Award 2017 to Chorley Nissan, Crayford and Abbs and Wellington Motors. It’s the highest honour Nissan gives to its dealer partners around the world and recognises them for delivering a great overall performance and excellent customer service.
‘So few dealers ever win it and so this really does go to show what a fantastic job these three dealerships have been doing and they should all feel very proud of this achievement.’
