TWO additions have been made to the sales team at Jennings Mazda, part of the award-winning Jennings Motor Group.

Rachel King, 32, from Redcar and Christopher Spayne, 24, from Saltburn-by-the-Sea, have joined the group’s Cargo Fleet Lane dealership in Middlesbrough as sales executives.

Working as part of an eight-strong sales team, the latest recruits will be responsible for selling the new Mazda model line-up, as well as quality used cars, to customers.

Other duties include contributing towards monthly and quarterly sales objectives set out by the manufacturer, in addition to liaising with existing and prospective purchasers, delivering cars to customers, attending training courses to keep up-to-speed with new products and product knowledge and ensuring the company’s award-winning customer service is delivered at all times.

James Chorlton, franchise manager at the Jennings Mazda dealership, said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Rachel and Christopher on board. Their recruitment will play a pivotal role in securing new and used sales at the dealership.

‘They are joining the business at a very exciting and busy time, with the official launch of the all-new CX-5 – Mazda’s latest mid-size SUV model – scheduled to take place at the end of this month.’

Rachel brings with her five years of experience having previously worked in sales for a courier service and, prior to that, for a major mobile phone and internet provider.

Meanwhile, Christopher, a time-served chemical process operator, joins the dealership after gaining experience as an energy consultant at a call centre in Hartlepool.
