Vertu-logo-300x239DEALER group Vertu has announced that it is trading ‘in line’ with market expectations.

In a brief trading update published ahead of its half-Year results to be published next month, the north-east based company said: ‘The group has continued to trade in line with market expectations.

‘On August 27, 2014 the group opened a new Fiat Brand Centre in a recently acquired leasehold property, representing Fiat, Alfa Romeo and Jeep in Newcastle.’

The update added that ‘the board is confident that further progress will be made during the remainder of the financial year.’

The positive update follows a strong set of results published in July.

In the four-month period between March and June, the group’s total revenues in the period grew by 34.8 per cent with like-for-like revenues up by 16.4 per cent.
