Website Provider for Independent Dealers – Car Dealer Power Awards 2020

Time 4:45 pm, September 28, 2020

Website designers have been working frantically during the lockdown to ready car dealers’ digital shop windows to cope with online sales.

With physical showrooms closed, dealers up and down the country turned to their websites to keep their businesses going as a prime means of keeping in touch with customers, and it was the website designers that burned the midnight oil to get them up and running.

67 Degrees is a small firm in the world of automotive retail website design, but it has a big appeal and reputation and dealers ranked it the best in this category in 2020 – it’s the third time the firm has walked off with the top gong.

Founded in 2016 it has a small but hugely experienced team that can meet the needs of the most fastidious dealer, and no more was that skillbase tested this year.

‘This year has been super, super busy,’ says director, Laura Coleby.

‘The minute we heard about Covid-19 taking effect, we were inundated with existing dealers wanting requests – whether it be changes to banners and opening hours or notifying customers of their click and collect services.

‘We were also inundated with new dealers who wanted to take their websites to the next level with e-commerce and move forwards.’

The firm has been so busy helping, advising and working with dealers that the time has slipped by, jokes Stuart Harvey, 67 Degrees’ marketing manager.

He said: ‘With government guidance changing almost daily and on how dealers could be operating, we really had to be on it.

‘It’s so good to see that every dealer we have worked with has got through this period – and got through it very well.’

Customer service and the feeling that the 67 Degrees was always contactable were comments repeated numerous times by survey respondents, and this is something the firm has worked hard at since it was established.

‘Our real USP is that we are always at the end of the phone – we even have a private WhatsApp group for every dealer,’ says Coleby.

‘Especially during coronavirus, this text service was paramount to how dealers operated. We were there 24/7.’

Aside from 2020, what has made 67 Degrees so successful since 2016? Over to Coleby: ‘We are hands-on, passionate and just really nice people!’
