William A Lewis Cars acquired by Greenhous

9e7914c4-3e25-4ea2-945f-9f6cca4b95dcGREENHOUS, a £600m-turnover dealer based in Shropshire, has purchased the independent motor group, William A Lewis Cars.

William A Lewis, which can trace its roots back to 1945, has been owned and run as a family business for over 55 years and currently operates five franchises, including Volvo and Nissan from sites in Shrewsbury and Telford.

According to Insider Media, the group has a turnover of approximately £40m and it employs 160 staff. Having been provided with financing by GMAC for the acquisition, as well as opening up new fleet vehicle opportunities, this particular deal will add to Greenhous’ franchised operations in the Shropshire area.
