CAN your business impress a Dragon? Then prove it, say the organisers of this year’s Fast Growth Business Awards.
James Caan, from the hit BBC TV show, is one of the judges this year, along with MOBO founder Kanya King.
They’re judging 14 categories this year – and many of the categories are of particular interest to savvy car dealers. Prizes include:
Retail/Leisure Business of the Year
Green Business of the Year
Financial Director of the Year
Fast Growth Business of the Year
Best Use of Technology
The latter award could be of particular interest to keen followers of our Ewards: we’ll be highly recommending the best we’ve seen make an entry.
The awards are judged by a panel of entrepreneurs, industry experts and business journalists including the aforementioned Caan and King, alongside David Soskin, CEO, Cheapflights.co.uk and Perry Wilson, MD, Insure & Go.
To enter, companies must be UK based, with fewer than 500 employees. They must have generated revenues for at least 2 years, and have had revenues of at least £1 million in their last 12 months’ trading. The deadline for entries is 19 December 2008, and finalists will be announced on 21st January 2009.
