THE Suffolk-based dealership Wolsey Volkswagen is investing £800,000 in order to upgrade and expand its showroom facilities.
The expansion will allow the dealership on Sproughton Road in Ipswich to display a wider selection of vehicles from the Volkswagen range.
The new interior will feature a spacious design with new crisp colours to enhance overall customer experience, while the refurbishment will also accommodate a new hospitality and service area.
The business is set to remain open throughout the development stages and work is expected to be complete by March 2014.
Tim Hargreaves, brand manager at Wolsey VW, told EADT24: ‘For the past 18 years we have successfully built a strong Volkswagen business from this site. We continually review our services and facilities to ensure we provide a high level of service, so felt the time was right to expand our offering.
‘We feel our investment confirms our commitment to motorists in the area and we believe the refurbishment will strengthen our customers’ service offering whilst providing an ideal setting to showcase the increasing Volkswagen range.’
He added: ‘Customer service is always our priority so the business will remain open throughout the refurbishment.’
