FOLLOWING the acquisition of Wood BMW and Mini Group in 2012, the company will be re-launched as Ridgeway Group.
After making significant changes in the last 16 to 17 months to improve retail experience, the company has made large increases in its BMW and Mini market share.
This is due to new customer offers throughout the range and increased investment in used car stock. As a result, customer satisfaction scores have reached an all-time high.
These changes include the availability of more parking spaces at each site, extended opening hours, the launch of class-leading premises at Hook, the relocation of Service Reception at Bournemouth, the appointment of additional sales and service staff at all locations and a large investment in the Group’s customer support unit.
Brand director for Ridgeway BMW and Mini, David Weston, said: ‘We now feel it is the perfect time to celebrate our achievements by re-naming and re-launching the Wood Group into the Ridgeway brand.
‘From August 1 2013, Wood BMW & Mini will become Ridgeway BMW & Mini – The new name for BMW and Mini in Bournemouth, Hook and Salisbury’.
