PEUGEOT UK has bolstered its sales department with the appointment of Simon Bisp as sales director.

Bisp is currently head of sales programmes at the company and brings with him 15 years of experience within the PSA Group.

A graduate of Warwick University, Bisp has held several key roles within the PSA Group, including significant posts in distribution, aftersales and sales zone management.

His new role will commence this month and he will oversee the growth of the Peugeot brand in the UK as the company prepares to introduce key new models, including the all-new 3008 SUV, which will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October.

Bis commented: ‘I am very much looking forward to the next chapter with Peugeot. We have a real opportunity to deliver outstanding results with an ever-stronger product range, so this will be our focus in the coming months.’

David Peel, managing director at Peugeot UK, said: ‘It is a pleasure to appoint Simon to lead the sales team here at Peugeot.

‘He enters the role at an exciting time for the Peugeot brand and, with a wealth of experience, I believe he is the right person to drive the sales team forward.’
