SEAT has revealed it’s not just new cars that are selling strongly but its used car sales are also at record levels too.
Up to October of this year, Seat’s used car sales to the brand’s 120-plus franchised dealers nationwide are more than 1,300 vehicles up on the same period in 2010.
In turn, dealers’ used car sales to the public are significantly up versus the same period in 2010, too.
In fact, used sales at the brand’s best-performing dealers are as much as 33 per cent up on 2010.
Seat UK’s used car sales manager, David Ardern, said: ‘Seat’s network of dealers across the country is hungry for late model, low mileage vehicles as it knows the buyers are out there.
‘Ibiza, Leon and Exeo are all doing exceptionally well in the used market, while our various Ecomotive-branded cars continue to interest buyers who value miles per gallon as highly as they do miles per hour.
‘Despite the difficult economic climate, demand for used SEATs has never been stronger. We are well-placed to fulfil it, of course, which means there’s never been a better time to seek out the SEAT you’ve been promising yourself!’
