Dealer group Arnold Clark has announced the opening of three new Chery branches across England and Scotland as the Chinese brand continues to grow its UK network.
The Car Dealer Top 100 table-topper has opened new sites in Aberdeen, Perth and Liverpool – all of which are now open and ready to welcome customers.
The showrooms mark an expansion of the dealer group’s partnership with Chery, after the brand became Arnold Clark’s 35th manufacturer partner back in September.
The new branches join the group’s existing Chery sites, which are in Clydebank, Glasgow and Newcastle.
Confirming the news, Gavin McKenzie, group brand director at Arnold Clark, said: ‘Chery has already proven to be very popular with our customers.
‘The Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8 are very impressive and received great feedback.
‘We look forward to welcoming customers to experience the style, comfort, and value that the Chery range delivers.’
Sales of Chery-branded cars got underway at an initial 25 UK sites in September, with the outfit also enjoying success here via its ownership of both Omoda and Jaecoo.
Explaining the company’s decision to launch as a standalone brand, earlier in the year, Gary Lan, Chery International’s UK CEO, said: ‘Chery’s introduction to the UK market this summer not only shows our commitment to growth, but also reflects our confidence in the UK automotive sector, and the appeal of our vehicles to local buyers.
‘Expect the same innovation, style, technology focus, and exceptional value.’
