Greenhous Group has announced a new addition to its senior leadership team, with chief technology and communications officer Matthew Jones set to join the board of directors after almost 14 years with the business.
Jones has worked for the dealer group since 2012 and has worked in several roles covering data, technology and automation.
He will now join the board of Greenhous Group Holdings Limited from September 1, with bosses backing him to make a ‘valuable contribution’ to the retailer’s future.
Confirming the news, Ashley Passant, managing director of Greenhous Car and Van Division, said: ‘On a personal note, I would like to thank Matthew for his dedication and commitment to Greenhous over the past 14 years.
‘I have every confidence that the experience, perspective and leadership he brings will make a valuable contribution to the Board and to the future direction of our group.’
In his current role, Jones is responsible for digital transformation, marketing, software development, artificial intelligence, and GDPR and data governance.
He will now work alongside other board members to deliver a ‘stronger and more efficient business’ through technology and communications.
The firm recently announced a significant rise in profits after a period of ‘seismic change’ in 2025.
Commenting on his appointment, Jones said: ‘Greenhous Group has been an important part of my professional life for almost 14 years, so I am proud to be joining the board, and I am thankful for the opportunities and value the trust placed in me.
‘Technology and communications have an increasingly important role to play in how we operate, how we engage with customers and colleagues, and how we build a stronger and more efficient business.
‘I am looking forward to working with the rest of the Board and the wider team as Greenhous continues to develop.’
