SO, what’s happening here at Hangar 2? Well, the auction is under way, apace.
As you can see, auctioneer Paul Joyce is firing through the cars. Those who have registered on the site will be knowing what sort of money they’re making.
But from our side, we’re watching lot 11 – a SEAT Altea – and everything has gone to plan. The bids are flowing through online, the cars are making sensible amounts, the online concept is drawing people in and, crucially, bidders are getting the hang of it.
We can tell this because the pace of bids is speeding up. It’s reaching the speed of a regular auction, and we’re blasting through the lots (12 is now under way…)
At the end of the event, we’ll get the full word from MD Peter Davies. For now, we’re going to sit back with a cup of tea, and watch the results before our very eyes.
The great thing is, you can do the same, too. Albeit without the supply of sandwiches and Boost bars we’re also getting our way through here…
