Mitsubishi prize-winner will take disabled daughter on luxury hotel break

Time 12:21 pm, November 20, 2015

A LUCKY winner is planning to treat her disabled daughter to a luxury break after scooping a weekend away thanks to Tees Valley Mitsubishi in Darlington.

Margaret Marston won the prize, which includes dinner, wine and spa treatments, after entering into a prize draw while having her Mitsubishi serviced at the dealership in McMullen Road.

The delighted grandmother-of-two, from Middleton St George, said it would be a welcome break for her daughter Elizabeth-Jane, 35.

The civil servant, who collected the prize with her husband Ian, said: ‘My daughter is disabled, she is in a wheelchair, so this will be a nice little treat for her and it will be lovely to spend time away with her. I couldn’t believe it when they rang to say I had won, and when I asked my daughter if she wanted to come with me she was so excited. She’s really looking forward to it.’

The pair can pick their destination from a choice of hotels all over the UK but they have yet to decide where to go. Tees Valley Mitsubishi is now offering customers another chance to win a luxury break for two.

Anyone who has after sales work –for example, a service – carried out before 31st December 2015 can be entered into a draw for the prize of two nights for two people at a choice of exclusive UK hotels.

Mark Wilson, After Sales Manager at the dealership, said: ‘Mrs Marston has been coming to us since she moved to the area in 2003 so it was great to see a familiar face win the competition. We’re absolutely delighted for her and we hope they have a fantastic weekend away. We’re very excited to offer our customers another chance to win a lovely luxury break. With the outside temperatures now dropping, I’m sure it’ll be warmly welcomed by whoever wins.’
