West Way Nissan invests in the future with network apprenticeship scheme

Time 10:16 am, November 24, 2015

WITH an eye on the future West Way Nissan has appointed a number of apprentices across its network.

Referred to by the franchise as ‘the sales people of the future’, the 15 successful candidates were chosen with the help of national training provider Retail Motor Industry Training (REMIT), following a strong response to West Way Nissan’s apprenticeship scheme announcement earlier this year.

The apprentices will be given the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification, receive personal mentoring and training and get hands-on experience within the West Way business.

They will work alongside car sales executives to learn about the vehicles they are selling, develop sales techniques and enhance their customer service skills to enable them to provide outstanding service.

Andy Buswell, HR manager at West Way Nissan, said: ‘This is a great opportunity for these young people who have a dream of building a long career in the motor industry.

‘Competition for an apprenticeship place at West Way Nissan was tough so our new apprentices have already achieved a great deal by being accepted onto the programme.’
