Top Suzuki sites of 2016 crowned at dealer conference

COLIN Appleyard Cars Limited, C&M McDonald, Worthing Suzuki and Brownes Cars Limited were announced the top Suzuki dealers of 2016 at the brand’s annual conference, taking awards for large, medium, small and Irish dealer respectively .

Suzuki GB held the awards at its dealer conference in the Spanish island of Tenerife. The ceremony recognises the achievements, exceptional performance and service delivered by Suzuki car dealers across the UK and Ireland during the past twelve months.

TV personalities, Ant and Dec, who have recently played a lead role in the brand’s adverts for the Vitara compact SUV, announced each of the winners via video link. The trophies were then handed out by Suzuki GB’s Managing Director, Nobuo Suyama, and Aftersales Director, Denis Houston.


All showrooms were evaluated in seven different areas which included the percentage of target sales achieved, the finance penetration percentage, the Sales Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI), the Service CSI, the number of parts sold, and the quantity of accessories sold and returned on sales percentage.

An individual trophy for Outstanding Performance in Customer Service was presented to Norfolk’s Fleming Brothers Limited.

In addition, 22 Suzuki dealerships were commended for their long-running commitment to Suzuki, with four sites Quay Auto Centre, Devon; Autoworld Chesterfield, Derbyshire; Grenson Motor Co Limited, Cheshire; Brady’s Ratoath, Co. Meath, celebrating 30 years with the brand.
