Get your CDX tickets here!

Taking place at the Manchester Central Convention Complex today and tomorrow (May 21 and 22), Car Dealer Magazine’s CDX will be bigger and better than ever before. Now a two-day event, CDX 2018 has partnered up with some of the most innovative brands in the industry, ensuring CDX is packed with exciting and educational things to see and do.

More space means even more delegates are expected at CDX in 2018 and, to ensure a smooth and speedy entrance, we have a new registration and ticketing system in place, allowing guests to print their own ticket and avoid queuing.

If you’ve already registered, you’ll have been emailed your ticket already – make sure you have it to hand so you can sail through on the day! If you haven’t registered yet, you can do so by clicking on the following link.

How do I get to CDX 2018?

There are plenty of ways to plan your route to the Manchester Central Convention Complex, whether you’re staying locally or travelling from afar.

Public transport

The free Metroshuttle brings you to the front of the venue, direct trains are available from major cities, and regular flights leave from all around the UK direct to Manchester Airport – less than 10 miles from the venue.

Driving and parking

Those arriving by car can park in one of 10 car parks nearby. The closest is the NCP directly under the venue, which has 720 spaces including 18 disabled parking bays. It has direct access to Manchester Central via lifts, stairs and escalators.

A four-minute walk away is NCP’s Great Northern Warehouse 1 with a further 519 parking spaces; and eight minutes away is the Bridgewater Hall NCP car park with 288 spaces. All other car parks nearby can be found here.

How do I book a ticket for CDX?

Booking a ticket for CDX is simple and FREE – just click this link and fill out your details. Your ticket will be emailed to you and you can print it in advance. When you arrive at the venue you will pass security, grab a lanyard and walk straight into the expo hall or a workshop! If you don’t have your ticket on you, you will have to queue and wait for a ticket to be printed.

How do I get a VIP ticket?

Those seeking even easier access to the venue can purchase our new limited-edition VIP ticket sponsored by iVendi. This gives you guaranteed VIP parking, fast-track access, a dedicated business lounge, breakfast and buffet lunch, free cloakroom and exclusive Wi-Fi. Click here to book your VIP ticket today.

What should I do if I forget my ticket?

If you forget your ticket, don’t panic! When you arrive at the Manchester Central Convention Complex, head for the ‘Forgot your ticket?’ desk where a member of the Car Dealer team will be able to print you a new ticket.

Can I get a ticket on the day?

Absolutely! All you need to do is make your way to the main entrance and register at the check-in desk. You will need photo ID and a business card to sign up on the day. However, please note that due to the high number of delegates expected, there may be queues for this service. We therefore advise all guests to register and print their ticket ahead of the event.

Where can I stay for CDX?

If you’re looking to attend CDX on both days, or you’re travelling from further afield, there are a number of hotels across Manchester, many within walking distance from CDX, to choose from. Click here to find the nearest hotels to Manchester Central.

How do I plan my day at CDX?

You can view the show guide for CDX in advance by clicking here. You’ll get a printed copy on the day, but if you download it now you can spend the weekend planning all the Live Stage interviews, workshop sessions and stands you want to visit. What better way is there to spend your weekend?

What’s in the expo?

You’ll have read about our headline partners for CDX18: GardX, iVendi, Perfect Placement and The WMS Group. Each of our four partners will be occupying space within the exhibition floor called forums, covering an area larger than any other stand ever seen at CDX before – and we can guarantee they will be something to behold.

You can find all of the exhibitors here if you’re looking to set up a meeting on the day or looking for familiar faces.

When are the workshops on?

CDX will once again play host to a range of excellent workshops and seminars. In total, there will be 20 workshops, covering key topics affecting dealerships. These will run twice at CDX18 – once on the Monday (May 21) and again on the Tuesday (May 22) – giving everyone a chance to attend as many sessions as possible.

What’s on the Car Dealer Live Stage?

With a total of 19 panels taking place on the Live Stage over the two-day show, and two keynote Q&As with Max Stolton from Google and Cheryl Croly from Twitter, you can’t afford to miss out! Our incredible line-up of speakers will ensure each panel discussion will focus on a key topic, relevant to today’s motor trade, including digital dealerships and physical forecourts. We’ll also be giving you the chance to have your say, grill our panellists or simply ask nicely for their opinions. Click here to see the full timetable for the Live Stage.

How do I attend Women in the Motor Industry?

Women in the Motor Industry will return for 2018, and we’re planning to break records once again. Every year we’ve seen more women show up for this session to share their inspiring stories and prove that the girls can do it just as well as the boys. This year, we’ll be giving delegates a great opportunity to network with each other too, so this will be a session not to be missed! This session takes place at 9.30am on May 22 and everyone is welcome.

Am I in the Social Media 200?

The social media session is always a highly competitive one and we know that businesses are relying more and more on those people who manage their social channels. We’ve invited our shortlisted dealers personally and will be announcing the final list of the most influential social media. There will be special awards to hand out and a Q&A with some experts! This takes place at 10am on May 21.
