Edmund King, president of the AA, was live on Car Dealer’s YouTube channel today.
King chatted with host James Batchelor about a wide range of motoring and business issues in a feature-packed show.
In a long and colourful career, King has become one of the leading commentators of the transport and motoring industries, and has also led many campaigns for change, particularly in the road safety arena such as Think Bike. As such, he was awarded an OBE in the 2016 New Year Honours for services to road safety.
He’s been president of the AA since 2008 after spells at the RAC Foundation and British Road Foundation.
King is also a member of the transport sector panel of The Institution of Engineering and Technology, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, fellow of the Public Relations Consultants Association and a committee member of the Motor Industry Public Affairs Association.
