New Co-op charter

aftersales_independentTHE Co-operative motor group has launched a new after-sales charter promising a ‘fair approach to doing business’.

The new charter consists of a price promise which will match any like-for-like servicing and repair quote using genuine, approved manufacturer parts.

The group also says that customers will receive detailed invoices outlining prices, work completed, and the benefits of labour and parts guarantees.


Customers using the new service will also be able to take advantage of the group’s ‘Duty of Care’ pledge whereby full vehicle safety inspections will take place. Convenient mobility options while customers’ cars are in dealerships also form part of the new charter.

Carl Traviato, afftersales manager at The Co-operative Motor Group, said: ‘As a co-operative business we want to champion the highest standards of customer care across the industry and by launching the after sales charter we hope to demonstrate just how serious we are about making sure our customers are completely satisfied.

‘When we re-branded from Sunwin Motors last year, we adopted The Co-operative’s strong and trusted brand and we will continue to build on this by developing long-lasting relations with our customers,’ he concluded.
