ADP HPI DMS boost

The partnership provides one-mouse-click NMR checks, CAP and Glass’s valuations.

In other words, dealers can find a car’s value and fully verify its history – instantly.

Autoline is already used by nearly half the franchised dealer network. By teaming up with HPI, it has been able to enhance the service it already offers, by streamlining operations dealers carry out every day.

The vehicle information supplied by HPI is automatically backfilled into the Autoline system – removing the need for dealers to manually create vehicle records and providing instant access to accurate information.

Daniel Burgess, director of automotive at HPI, said: ‘This new partnership with ADP Dealer Services offers an even higher level of protection for dealers using Autoline.’

‘Fraudulent activity is still a major concern within the industry and we need to ensure we remain vigilant. Car cloning is on the rise as is the ‘clocking’ of vehicles, with over 1 in 12 mileages checked now showing a discrepancy.

‘We also know that the credit crunch is making an impact, with 30 out of 100 cars we check still subject to a finance agreement. This improved DMS reassures dealers they are armed with the best possible information to support a profitable sale and protect their dealership.’
