aston-martin-dbs-volante-unveiledLUXURY marque Aston Martin has joined forces with the motor industry’s self-regulatory body Motor Codes.

According to Motor Codes, the move demonstrates Aston Martin’s ‘commitment to providing first class customer service’.

The British marque joins 38 other manufacturers who have joined the Motor Industry Code of Practice for New Cars. Aston Martin dealers can now offer ‘an extra level of consumer protection’ to their customers.

‘Since recently opening up the New Car Code to all new car manufacturers, the Motor Codes team has seen strong interest from several brands keen to step up to the mark in delivering the highest standards of customer service,’ said Chris Mason, Motor Codes director.

‘We are confident that more specialist makers will follow the example of Aston Martin now that government has approved their inclusion in our Code.’

The announcement is one of Motor Code’s first tie-ups with niche and specialist car makers, who recently received government approval to expand to those makers.
