THERE’S nothing more embarrassing than pranging a car whilst on a test drive, and just looking at this wrecked R8 makes us blush for the driver.
The potential customer had borrowed the four-wheel-drive Audi supercar from the brand’s Watford dealership last week, and was apparently enjoying the MY2016 65-plate model a little too much for the wet conditions.

The driver is reported to have lost control of the of the R8 V10 supercar before clipping a wheel on the kerb and flipping it onto its roof.
Miraculously, despite the extensive damage that the car suffered, the car’s occupant was unharmed.

The second generation of Audi’s mid-engined supercar features a 5.2L V10 engine producing 602BHP, and can reach 60mph from a standstill in just 2.7 seconds, topping out at 210mph.
This is believed to be the first public crash of the new model.
