a5e37f48-514a-4c1b-a74b-66004d7c49edUSED car trading portal Autotrade-mail has revealed its recently introduced stock locator now has more than 12,000 vehicles available online at any one time.

The MultiSource stock locator presents remarketing stock from a number of vendors through just one website, and is expected to almost double the number of vehicles offered through Autotrade-mail in 2013, from the 26,000 offered last year.

Feeds come directly from a variety of sources including Aston Barclay, Central Car Auctions, Fleet Auction Group, Shoreham Car Auctions and SMA in addition to the over 4,500 dealer vehicles from Autotrade-mail members.

Trade vehicles are displayed via a separate tab on Autotrade-mail, in order to distinguish them from regular Autotrade-mail stock. Dealers searching for quality retail stock can now do so by visiting just one website rather having to search through a number of websites, while auction houses and fleet and remarketing operators will now be able to offer their vehicles to a much larger buyer audience.

Operations director at Autotrade-mail, Kevin Watson said: ‘Dealers can now source the widest range of vehicles from the only aggregated source of used car stock. MultiSource has been especially welcomed by franchised dealers who are placing more emphasis on their used car operations.

‘With quality used stock becoming harder to find, additional supply lines are vital to run a successful used car operation. The ability for dealers to view multiple sources of stock from just one combined search within Autotrade-mail is much appreciated.’
