BANGERS4BEN 2015 took a turn for the extraordinary yesterday with an attempt to set a world record.
And while we would like to claim the record for most people to fit in a Fiat Cinquecento, we doubt it would be verified considering that it took place in the lobby of a Belgian hotel, late at night.
The idea evolved from an offhand remark, and saw our little Big Bird squeeze through the fragile glass doors into the entrance of the Hotel Silva Spa-Balmoral, where our eager team members began piling inside.
After ten minutes of careful people-arrangement, the doors were finally closed, albeit with various limbs emerging from the windows.
A total of 14 had managed to fit into a car designed for four, but we doubt it would drive very far considering the exhaust was almost touching the floor.
