FORD has secured the top two places in the best-sellers list for July, the latest SMMT data reveals.
Family-favourite, the Fiesta, once again holds onto the top spot with 6,695 cars sold in July, followed by the Focus with 6,235 cars sold to its name.
The Vauxhall Corsa’s and Astra’s third and fifth places respectively was split by the Volkswagen Golf, while the Insignia held sixth place in the table, with 4,037 units sold.
Holding seventh place was the BMW 3 Series with 3,693 cars sold, with the VW Polo following closely in eight spot with 3,684.
Britain’s very own Nissan Qashqai was ninth after the firm sold 3,391 cars in the month, and the Volkswagen Passat rounded off the top ten with 2,514 to its name.
