Ford Retail creates 1p auctions in aid of Cancer Research

focusFORD Retail has launched a new partnership with Cancer Research UK with a national car auction across its dealerships.

Each Ford Retail dealership will have one of their cars on offer with a reserve price of a penny – and customers will be able to part exchange or opt for a finance package for the new car’s final amount.

The event will take place at Dagenham Motors, Edgware, on February 19 – and a further six dealerships will take part including Dagenham Motors Ripple Road, Heartlands Ford in Erdington, Brunel Ford in Ashton, Lindsay Ford in Lisburn and Polar Ford in Huddersfield.


Ford’s best-selling Fiesta and Focus models will be available in the 1p auction with all proceeds from the auctions going to Cancer Research UK.

Ford Retail will also be hosting an online auction on eBay on February 19. Buyers will have until midnight on Sunday, February 23 to get a cheap deal in aid of charity.
