Polar Ford Barnsely, Heartlands Ford Perry Barr and Lindsay Ford in Belfast’s Lisburn mean the division’s total investment last year exceeded £10 million. This includes £5.3 million on the East London Dagenham Motors superstore alone.
More than £1 million was also spent on Dagenham Motors Eltham.
This underlines the faith of the blue oval in its UK car dealerships – particularly as retail sales for the brand continue to grow.

The site has created 10 new jobs, meaning there’s a 100-strong workforce at the site formerly occupied by Renault and Nissan dealers. It boasts a 10 car showroom, 6-car indoor shoroom for used stock, and an outside forecourt for 100 cars. The giant site also has a 13-bay servicing workshop, and has separate facilities for commercial and business fleet customers.
Heartlands Ford Perry Barr
The brand new site has been built on the Tameside Park retail development. it has a 4-car showroom for new models, a 6-bay servicing workship and an outside used car forecourt.
Lindsay Ford Lisburn
The dealer, based in south Belfast, has just opened a £1.8 million 10-car new model shoroom. It complements a 12-bay aftersales operation, which was opened earlier in 2008, at a cost of £750,000.
