Garage of the Year opens

Time 8:19 pm, February 24, 2012

CONSUMER voting for Motor Codes’ 2012 Garage of the Year accolade – in association with Havoline – is now open.

New for 2012, the addition of award categories reflecting large and small garages means that entrants can benchmark performance with comparable businesses.

Now in its third year of running, Motor Codes has also gained support from Havoline as headline competition sponsor.

Chris Mason, managing director at Motor Codes, said: ‘In the last two years, thousands of motorists have voted to support their local garage and both the regional and national winners have spoken about the impact this has had on their business.

‘The competition is a great opportunity to shout about what’s good in our industry and stand up against the negative image that some people still hold.’

Helping garages promote their involvement with Garage of the Year, a free marketing suite, containing posters, flyers and online banners is available online at www.motorcodes.co.uk.

All Motor Codes subscribers, franchised and independent, are registered automatically and can start directing customers to vote, via www.motorcodes.co.uk, immediately.

Opening the competition to all garages committed to delivering first-class service, non-subscribers can also register, free of charge.

In return for asking dealers’ customers to vote, a consumer prize of a year’s free servicing and tickets to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone is on offer.

Not to be left out, a garage prize fund including Snap-on vouchers, driving experiences and free Motor Codes subscriptions, worth over £10,000, is up for grabs.
