The deal sees the Pendragon dealership become part of Hillendale’s portfolio, and sees 15 staff transferred bringing Hillendale’s total workforce to 65.

The East Lancashire-based business already runs a Jaguar service centre and has operated the Land Rover franchise in the area for the past 16 years.

Managing director Lee Collins said: ‘We are delighted to have completed the purchase of Hillendale Jaguar Bolton.

‘We are looking forward to welcoming the team in Bolton to the Hillendale family and being involved with the amazing vehicles Jaguar produce.’

The deal comes soon after Pendragon selling Jaguar and Land Rover businesses to the John Clark Motor Group last month.
