Inchcape’s impressive awards haul is ‘testament to hard work’

Time 10:57 am, February 26, 2019

INCHCAPE UK is delighted to have received a series of prestigious accolades across its Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi and Porsche dealerships.

Inchcape Mercedes-Benz was recently named the brand’s Used Car Retailer of the Year and was also recognised for service innovation through the Workshop 2020 award.

In addition, the company was delighted to have one of its technical apprentices, Alex Shaw from Inchcape Mercedes-Benz of Loughborough, named as MB UK Passenger Car Apprentice of the Year.

This is the second year running that an Inchcape apprentice has won this prestigious award and is testament to the investment that the company continues to make in the recruitment and training of apprentices throughout its business.

At the BMW conference and annual awards ceremony in Lisbon, Inchcape was recognised by the brand as 7 Series Retailer of the Year through its Tunbridge Wells business. The Sunderland team was runner-up in this category.

Critical importance

Porsche Centre Bournemouth, which is soon to relocate into a new facility, has been recognised by winning the nationally coveted Porsche Service Excellence Award for 2018. This comes soon after being recognised by the brand for its performance during the ‘restoracing’ competition and being chosen to restore a number of 986 models directly for Porsche Cars GB.

Continuing with the customer service theme, the team at Inchcape Audi Hyde was first overall for CEM (Customer Experience Management) satisfaction in 2018 with Audi Tunbridge Wells winning the Audi Sport Sales award for 2018.

James Brearley, Inchcape UK CEO, said: ‘We are really proud of the teams in all of the winning businesses and this collective recognition is a testament to the hard work that has gone into 2018 in our business generally.

‘At Inchcape, we understand the critical importance of excellent relationships with our brand partners and we are striving to be the number one consistently, for both customer service and sales volume.’
