InfinitiINFINITI Centre Hull has been named Centre of the Year 2013, thanks to the high levels of customer satisfaction at the showroom and the way it represents the brand.

Managing director Stephen Smith and his team received their ‘outstanding achievement’ accolade at an event attended by everyone who works for the brand in the UK.

He told Car Dealer: ‘It’s very satisfying and a great achievement to receive such an award. The entire team, from our valeters through to the management staff, are all extremely proud.’

Out of 60 Infiniti outlets across Europe, Infiniti Centre Hull sits at the top of the list for offering the best customer service.

Regional director of Infiniti North Europe, Steven Oliver, told Car Dealer: ‘Infiniti Centre Hull’s operators are strongly focused on the local community – they had 150 attend their launch of the new Q50 and it’s clear they work very closely with each and every one of their customers.

‘They’re the latest centre to join our network and they’ve only been in operation for a year, but as far as we can see, they’ve already achieved so much.’

Previously a franchised Saab dealer for 34 years, Smith believes his team’s extensive experience has been the key to the centre’s success, having already built up a strong customer database.

Smith said: ‘Our experience in the industry has certainly helped us get where we are today. We have more than 100 customers to date across the UK and that figure is definitely growing.’

While Infiniti remains a niche brand with a small customer base, Smith believes this is a unique selling point and coupled with the launch of the new Q50, only helps to draw in more customers.

Smith said: ‘The fact that Infiniti is still not very well-known in terms of retail, actually proves to be a great selling point for us. Our customers love the fact that you don’t always spot an Infiniti on the road in comparison to its popular German rivals.

‘The Q50 has both fleet and retail appeal and I’m expecting the brand to grow massively in the next few months.’
