JEWSONS Skoda has vowed to re-open its Oxford showroom soon as floodwater continues to play havoc.
The dealership, in Abingdon Road, is operated by the Ridgeway Group. And its CEO John O’Hanlon humorously tweeted the dealership is helpfully ‘being cleaned’ by recent flooding.

Business has been disrupted by the weather but the dealership is continuing to operate in the best way it can.
Last week Ridgeway marketing manager Philip Deacon told us: ‘The council has taken the necessary precautions and closed the Abingdon Road and we’ve had to close the showroom until the floods begin to recede.
‘We’re always ready and prepared for the worst,’ said Deacon. ‘The showroom might be closed, but we have redirected calls and have staff off site answering enquiries on the telephone and via email, so we’re not losing any business.’
