Vantage Motor Group is extending its support for The Prince’s Trust, with the group’s Lexus Leeds operation sponsoring the youth charity’s annual fundraising Fashion Dinner for Yorkshire and the Humber.

Lexus Leeds is the headline sponsor of the annual dinner, in the 40th anniversary year of the charity founded by HRH the Prince of Wales, which will be hosted by BBC Breakfast’s Sally Nugent at Bowcliffe Hall in Bramham on 17 November.

The event will feature a catwalk from renowned designer and luxury brand, Amanda Wakeley, a champagne reception and three-course meal, live and silent auctions, and speeches from some of the young people The Prince’s Trust has helped.

Vantage became a patron of The Prince’s Trust in April this year, with its managing director, Mark Robinson, joining the charity’s Regional Development Committee for Yorkshire and the Humber.

Robinson said: ‘The Prince’s Trust supports almost 5,000 young people in the region a year and has helped over 825,000 nationally to move into work, education or training. As a Group, we share the same values and have supported the careers of many young people across Yorkshire and beyond.

‘This year’s Fashion Dinner is set to be the biggest and best yet and we’re delighted to be able to support such a great event and charity – we can’t wait for the night itself!’

The annual Fashion Dinner is one of Yorkshire’s largest fundraising events for The Prince’s Trust and has raised almost £500,000 since it began. All the proceeds from the evening will go to supporting young people, allowing them to gain skills, training, and experience needed to get into work or education.

Every year, The Prince’s Trust supports almost 5,000 young people facing poverty, chaotic family backgrounds and low self-esteem in Yorkshire alone.
